What is your risk profile?
Risk profile is an evaluation of an individual’s tolerance level in taking risks, as well as their reliability. The risk profile is often influenced by factors such as age, environment and knowledge about investment. There are three types of investors based on risk profile:
- Conservative
A conservative tends to pick the safest investment with predicted results, such as deposit. This type of investor only allocates a small amount of his investment resources to riskier investment instruments such as bonds or shares.
- Moderate
A moderate is willing to take greater risks while maintaining caution in choosing the right type of investment. A moderate will limit his exposure to risky instruments.
- Aggressive
An aggressive is willing to take greater risks, even allocating a huge amount of money to risky investments.
