Baban Sudarman joined Mandiri Investasi since 15 November 2020 as Chief Risk Officer and appointed as Director since 1 April 2021.
He has a license as Investment Manager Representative from the Capital Market Authority in accordance with the Decree of the Financial Services Authority’s Board of Commissioners No. Kep 28/PM.211/PJ-WMI/2021 dated 5 February 2021. Starting a career in finance since 1992 at PT Bank Export Import Indonesia as a Dealer then promoted as a Senior Dealer at PT Bank Export Import Indonesia branch Paris, France in 1996 until 1998.
Furthermore, from 1999 to 2020, he began holding various positions at PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. among others, as Department Head/VP Trading Risk Dept., Market & Operational Risk Group, Risk Manager/VP at PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. Hong Kong branch, and the last position as Chief Auditor (Group Head/SVP) Wholesale and Corporate Center Audit Group Bank Mandiri before serving as Chief Risk Officer at Mandiri Investasi.
Currently, he also serves as a Member of the Supervisory Board of the Association of Bank Internal Auditors (IAIB) for the period 2020 – 2023.
Baban Sudarman received his Bachelor of Statistics from the Bogor Agricultural Institute in 1990.
