Ernawan R. Salimsyah, CFA

Ernawan R. Salimsyah joined Mandiri Investasi in March 2022 as Chief Investment Officer and subsequently began serving as a Director on November 22, 2024.

Ernawan R. Salimsyah began his career in the capital market industry with PJ Etheridge Pty Ltd (Certified Financial Planner and Agent for AMP Financial Services) in Newcastle, Australia, from 1998 to 2002, with his last position as Para Planner. In Indonesia’s investment management industry, he has over 20 years of experience working at several leading investment management companies, with responsibilities spanning Investment Management, Product Development, and Marketing. From 2003 to 2011, he held various roles in investment management, including Senior Portfolio Manager, with his last position as Acting Investment Head at PT Danareksa Investment Management. From 2011 to 2019, he served as Chief Investment Officer (CIO), Executive Director, and ultimately Acting President Director at PT IndoPremier Investment Management. From January 2021 to March 2022, Ernawan held the roles of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Executive Director at PT Principal Asset Management.

Ernawan R. Salimsyah holds a Master’s degree in Investments-Master of Applied Finance from the University of Newcastle, earned in 2021, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), obtained in 1996. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and holds an individual license as an Investment Manager Representative from the Capital Market Authority, granted through Decree No. KEP-117/PM/WMI/2003 dated November 5, 2003, and extended under Decree No. KEP-80/PM.211/PJ-WMI/2022 on February 3, 2022.
