What types of investment are there?
Generally, there are two types of investments:
- Real Assets
Real assets are physical or tangible assets, such as property, land, and gold. The value of real assets usually increases over time, but not easy to liquidate when needed.
- Financial Assets
Financial assets are intangible assets such as stocks, bonds and mutual funds. Each asset has different characteristics. The higher the yield, the higher the risk. Financial assets are usually more liquid.
